We support Dunlap’s only museum, Wheel’s O’Time, and their mission of preserving the past for the education and enjoyment of future generations.
The museum provides a facility for all ages to see and hear and sometimes touch, items representing transportation, industry, farm and home life, as well as entertainment, from times past, mostly in the central Illinois area.
Our Creative Soul family committed to supporting the museum’s new exhibit building opened in 2021through the donation of many volunteer hours and financial support as well as the loan of artifacts.
The new building includes a 1947 Aeronca L-16 “Grasshopper” airplane, a 1952 Ford military Jeep, a 1967 MUTT (Military Utility Tactical Truck), and service uniforms and medals as part of a military display. Several vintage Caterpillar tractors join the beautifully-restored 1931 Ahrens Fox fire truck in the Great Hall. The Upper Gallery includes textile, Peoria history, and Christmas-through-time exhibits.
