Thursday September 23 5:30-7:30 Students led by Jane Sieck will learn Kumihimo, an ancient weaving art from Japan. It was used on samurai armor as little braids that laced the sections of armor together. Kumihimo comes from the Japanese term for gathering or combining cords making a braid. Students will make a beaded bracelet.
